Price in Maryland and professionally operated as an oyster buy boat, delivering oysters to market until 1958, she was purchased by boat builder and yachtsman Slade Dale, converted into a cruising yacht and renamed, COASTAL QUEEN. Since then she has lived her name to the fullest, plying the waters from the Bahamas to Eastern Maine, St. Lawrence Seaway and Mississippi River, turning heads in every port of call. 25 years ago she was purchased by an extremely accomplished racing sailor, as the 'mothership' for his yacht.
