The 26' 0" Seafarer sloop SENSEI, designed by A.S. DeW. Herreshoff, built in 1936 at Herreshoff Manufacturing Co., Bristol, Rhode Island seen here hauled out at Herreshoff Manufacturing Co., Bristol, Rhode Island. View looking downward at the deck in the galley where several of the deck panels have been lifted out revealing the bilge. A sump pump can be seen at the forward end and a lifting ring at the aft end. The roof of the cabin would be fitted with a removable deck plate to be able to drop a cable to the the lifting ring to left the boat.
