The 30' Yawl PLEASURE 28
The 30' 0" keel / centerboard yawl PLEASURE designed by N.G. Herreshoff and built in 1925 by Herreshoff Manufacturing Co., Bristol, Rhode Island Track and fitting for the portside running backstay. The stay (not shown) attaches to one of the fitting's eyes and is tensioned or slackened by sliding the fitting aft or forward along the track. The continuous line pulls the fitting in either direction. PLEASURE is now preserved at the Herreshoff Marine Museum. - Maynard Bray 2022
