The beginnings of a pig roast (no fire as yet). In this view, one can see a strategically placed door to, perhaps, shield the pig from the wind and/or sand. The door knob does not appear to serve any useful function. This photo was taken on a shoot that Ben Mendlowitz arranged for his Calendar of Wooden Boats, and was taken at Lisbon Creek in Andros, Bahamas
