Scene at low tide with multiple docks, boat houses, GULF sign. " The harbor at Isleford, Ted Spurling's home. Each time he hauls his traps, he brings back his catch and sells it to the lobster dealer, whose grey shack is shown in the center of the photo. This is also where he brings back his traps at the end of the lobstering season and unloads them on the pier at the extreme right. When the tide is out (as in the photo) each trap must be hoisted by hand nearly 10 feet from the boat at water level to the pier's deck. But hoisting the lightweight plastic traps causes less physical strain than the heavy wooden traps." [no NF ref]
