Lobster boat undergoing sea trials. "NOTILUCA, another J. Ervin Jones construction, undergoes sea-trials immediately after launching Saturday at East boothbay. NOTILUCA is the first new boat for young Larry Knapp of Little River. NOTILUCA is a step up for Larry as he moves into a 32' craft from his former 30 foot LARRY W. The LARRY W. which was built at New Harbor by Jessie Greenlaw is now for sale. The NOTILUCA has a beam of 9'6" and a draft of 3'6". NOTILUCA is powered by a Buick 455 gasolene engine rated at 325 h.p.. Ervin Jones is laying the keel for a 34 footer to be built for Phil Page of Boothbay Harbor." [ref. NF 03/1978, p. 3-C]
