Swordfishing longliner SCAVENGER underway. "Recently delivered to Capt. John Reed of Port Salerno is this 33' Stuart Angler set up for Swordfish Longlining in the straits of Florida. She's powered with a GM 6V-53 exhausting through a dry stack. Electronics include a Sitex dual auto-tracking Loran A, Furuno depth recorder, Modar VHF, CB radio, and a Sea temp water temperature gauge. Hydraulics for the mainline reel were rngineered and cupplied by Circuot Engineering Inc., of Jacksonville, Fla." [ref. NF 11/1978, p. 51]
