A man rests from ice fishing and reads the New Hampshire Fish and Game Laws. He lies in a wooden bed, smoking a pipe, his curly white beard like Santa. Kosti Ruohomaa documented a variety of old skills, and this series illustrating ice fishing is another example. He took photos of the men, their shelters, and the snow covered lake they were fishing.
