Friendship sloop (LADY M) on a cradle in a yard with two tall buildings. " Is she a candidate for the coastal memorabilia of future generations? This is the first and only Friendship sloop and the last major construction completed by the late Harvey F. Gamage, master builder at South Bristol. She is adapted from a design by Win Lash of Friendship and measures 32' with a beam of 10'. Her sails will include jib, flying jib, main sail and top sail." [ref NF 03/1978 P.10C]
