Image taken inside the Belfast & Moosehead Railroad office, with a large, wall-mounted moose head leering anomalously in the foreground and two men discussing something at a desk beyond. The scene includes a roster of WWII-era office equipment: a rotary-dial telephone, radio, a bank of metal file cabinets, a flourescent ceiling light. This is one of a series of photographs staged to be used for an article in Life Magazine in 1950.
