Large number of pedestrians are seen walking along the sidewalk and the street of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The large structure at the left is the Seashore Hotel. A few horse-drawn carriages are also seen in the street. The photograph was taken in 1897, five years before the beach was razed by fire in the summer of 1902.
