A pipe of some kind runs up the wall and through the ceiling in the background, with a textured mass resembling a quilted cover to its right. The man's jacket and cap resemble to some degree those worn by the crew of the Popham Beach Life Saving Service station. A notebook, or object of similar configuration, sits in the man's jacket pocket. The photographs is not particularly well focused. No precise information about the identity of this individual is presently known.
