Image of a city intersection showing some traffic and buildings. Visible in image: Across the intersection from the steps on which the photographer stood are a stone church in Gothic Revival style, probably Catholic, and a block of four row houses. A sign near the steps advertises the business of Scott Clamp (or Cramp, Stamp, etc.) and Sons, although additional details are obscured by an iron railing. A high-wheel bicycle is parked on the sidewalk in front of the steps. Adjacent to the bicycle, two men in suits (one wearing a top hat) talk together while a third man walks past them. A two-horse wagon with a drop-top for the driver is entering the intersection from the left, over the streetcar tracks. A wagon that appears to be configured for carrying hay or timber and what looks to be a four-wheeled buggy are parked on the street beyond. Three people are crossing the middle of the intersection, and a man in a white shirt is sweeping the street across the way. The location in this photograph is not currently known.
