Image of a group of people at what could be a fishing camp. Visible in image: Four men and four women, possibly couples, certainly acquaintances, pose for a portrait in what could be a fishing camp. The men are wearing three-piece suits or parts thereof, while the women wear blouses with puffed shoulders and skirts. A creel basket sits on the laps of two women in the front row and another hangs high on the wall behind, suggesting the fishing aspect of this location. Two of the men hold bottles that look decidedly medicinal, and two more such bottles sit on a rail to the left. One man holds what appears to be a piece of food up to the mouth of one of the women. The walls of the building are finished with knotted pine boards, and construction and finish appears quite simple. Decoration consists of a continuous row of cigarette cards, probably depicting women, at about head height. The man at lower left appears in LB2009.13.298 as well, suggesting that this photograph may have been taken by Harry Donnell, at a gathering of his friends at Camp Growl in Bay Point, Georgetown, Maine. The location of this photograph is not specified.
