Image of a group of men and women dressed in costumes approximating dress of the late 18th century. Visible in image: A group of seventeen men and women dressed in satiny period costumes pose on and around a leather sofa. It is not readily clear whether the group are dressed for theatricals or for a costume party or similar event. The identities of the individuals is not readily apparent, although the young man standing behind the sofa bears some resemblance to Hiram T. Stevens. Worthy of note are the decidedly non-period moustaches on some of the men. No other information about this photograph is presently known.
