Image of a float with several small boats moored to and around it. Visible in image: Many small boats are moored to and around a float, including several flatiron skiffs, a dory, and a few carvel and lapstrake skiffs. Three of the boats in the photograph, including one moored to the float, appear to be motor launches. Two of the launches have canvas covers, while the one moored to the float has a young man aboard and flies the U.S. yacht ensign. At the left of the photograph is what appears to be the wake of a boat motoring too fast to be caught by the exposure. No other information about this photograph is presently known.
