Tug with tow off Popham
Image of a steam tug bringing a tow up the Kennebec River off Popham, Maine. Visible in image: A tug, possibly PORTLAND, brings a tow past Popham Village. On the left shore can be seen (left-right) the Eastern Steamship Company wharf, the Riverside Hotel and the cupola of the Perkins-Stacey-Spinney house, the Haley house, the Haley & Marr general store, the government buildings of the Fort Popham installation, and Fort Popham itself. The landmass off the tug's starboard bow is Cox's Head, across Atkins Bay from Popham Village.
