Stacey house
Image of the Stacey house in Popham village, Maine. Visible in image: A view from the road into Popham Village (present-day Route 209) of the Stacey house (called the Perkins-Stacey-Spinney house in One Man's World). A woman in a checkered dress stands next to a ladderback rocking chair at the corner of the porch, two men with caps and a young person stand at the far end of the porch, and what appears to be a woman in a dress with enormously puffed sleeves stands near the two men. The house itself is a square Italianate building with a roofed porch on three sides and an ell extending from the side of the building opposite the camera. A cupola with four windows and a widow's walk crowns the house. A board sidewalk (from which the photograph was taken). One of the two houses on the right side of the photograph is the Nathaniel Perkins house.
