My room, Miss Vitus' [?], Cold Spring
Image of a guest room at a boarding house, or other room of residence. Visible in image: The furnishings in this room include a wicker chaise longue with pillows, an end table with lamp, a draped mantel, and a larger table. The decor includes fans and framed pictures on the wall and a large potted lily on the floor. Of interest are the periodicals on the end table and the doctor's-style satchel under the head of the chaise. Caption on negative sleeve/reverse of print: Identifying number "71," title "My Room Miss Vitus [?] Cold Spring July 1891," and exposure method and time "Cap--20."
