MINEOLA
Image of the steamboat MINEOLA. Visible in image: MINEOLA backs out of her berth with a few people on deck. There are many vessels in harbor, including a schooner with mainsail raised astern of MINEOLA, and a sloop with several other schooners in the outer harbor. The built-up main deck with a few small portholes forward suggests that MINEOLA is being used as much for cargo hauling as for passenger service, a utilitarian role reinforced by her greatly weathered paint.
