Man and boy

A boy leans against the arm of the rocking chair, striking a nonchalant pose. Dearborn has his arm around the boy and the two look square at the camera. The room they are in is small, and furnished with a bed in one corner, a dresser in the next corner (decorated with photographs and a pine cutting), a cylinder stove, and a mantel clock. The cover of the book Dearborn is holding appears to read "Book of Psalms." The identity of the boy is not presently known.
