Schooner MISTRESS under power. The MISTRESS was built on Deer Isle, Maine, on the same lines as the old coastal schooners, but with modern accommodations below decks. She is rigged in the traditional manner: block and tackle, deadeyes and lanyard, but unlike the bigger coasters, she has inboard power. Built in 1960 and restored in 1992, she is 60 feet overall, 46 feet on deck and accommodates 6 passengers.
