Maryland Hall was one of the dormitories at Nasson College in Springvale, Maine. The building was only a year old when this photo was taken. A group of students can be seen hanging out in front of the building and a vintage car is on the right. In 2018 the building was being renovated into an 18 units 55+ housing. Nasson Institute was established in 1912 as a 2 year womans program. It changed its name to Nasson College in 1935 and became a 4 year liberal arts college. It became co-ed in 1952. At its height in the 1960s it had approximately 900 students. It declared bankruptcy in 1982 and closed permanantly in 1983.
