Crowd in Ruggles Park watches boys climb a pole. The steam yacht, ARIA, is anchored in the harbor. ARIA was a 165' steel yacht built for Edward Blake of Bangor. Blake was a mayor of Bangor and early owner of the Bangor Daily News. It was built by the Gas Engine & Power Co. and Charles L Seabury & Co. in Morris Heights, NY.
