"A general or hardware with a sign reading “Chas. C. Reiter. Lots to see in this image: There is a 1920s flivver with two passengers, a bicycle, a bench with the local newspaper advertised, a porch lounger crossing his arms, a whetstone and lots of paraphernalia for sale. The sign “Big Tree No. 182” is the address, as Main Street later became “Big Tree Road.” The location is on the north side of Main Street, a few lots to the east of the intersection Water Street.
