Ram Island Light Station, built on a granite caisson foundation in 1883. The tower is connected to land and the keeper's house via elevated walkway set on iron pilings. The lighthouse marks Fisherman Island Passage between Ocean Point and Ram and Fishermans Islands off Boothbay Harbor.
