A view of a large shingle covered house which was most likely tourist accomendations know as the "Mariner's Cottage". The negative is a copy photo and notes indicate the original photo was submitted by H.G. Reed of McKinley, Maine. Tremont and Bass Harbor was known as McKinley for a period of time.
