Spencer Bay, the location of several sporting camps by the mid-20th century, is a major eastern arm of Moosehead Lake, known for its pristine remotenes, beauty, and recreational appeal - particularly fishing. The image shows cracking, due to emulsion shrinkage on the negative's acetate.
