The southern expanse of Bog Lake in Northfield, Maine (near Machias) shows between two trees. In the distance, a large summer home (owned at the time by a J.E. Frenning) sits on a point of land. Bog Lake spans 28 acres and is shallow, no more than 46' deep, but fairly cold. Historically and currently, it's an ideal fishing spot which supports numerous species, though it's often overlooked by fishers.
