Color negative of aerial photo of the Bald Head Cliffs in Ogunquit, Maine, looking northeast towards Perkins Cove and the town center. The image'includes the Cliff House Hotel in the foreground. The red-roofed Victorian resort was built in 1872 by the Perkins family. After being taken over by the Army Corps of Engineers for naval surveillance during WWII, and subsequently falling into disrepair, the facility was significantly altered and renovated in 1960.
