In a mid-century period shot, automobiles from the 1950s and 60s are parked in front of Hussey's General Store in Windsor. The image was taken shortly after the building was completed in 1954, replacing the original store established in 1936. In inland rural Windsor, Hussey's became the modern version of the 19th century general store, carrying everything from hamburger to bridal gowns to hardware. The store is known for its slogan "If we ain't got it, you don't need it."
