Northern ME. Junction. 14.

At the Northern Maine Junction in Hermon, several sets of railroad tracks on banked grades curve through the boulder-strewn foreground toward a large shed and two tall structures that are connected by an enclosed overhead conveyor that are used for moving coal to supply the locomotives which pass through this junction. To the right is a gable-roofed building which belongs to Bangor & Aroostook. The building to the right of that one, with a hip roof, is Union Station. in front of the station are two snow plows. A flat car labeled "Bangor & Aroostook 307" sits on a siding at the left.
