J.G.Bryns stable sign on the corner of the 4 story very ornate building with awnings and fancy weathervane. The ornate building was the Gerald hotel built in 1903 by Amos Gerald, still present and is being restored and renovated to elderly housing. Had a roof top garden with exit under the middle domed turret. Amos Gerald built the first electric power plant in Maine and the first electric trolleys were in Fairfield and ran to Waterville.
