This dramatic image shows a train wreck along the Chatham Branch in Rutland. The locomotive has slid down the embankment into a river. Two workers inspect its undercarriage. Other rail equipment, including the tender, have tipped over down the bank, one marked "New York Center Line", and a full-size car appears to teeter precariously off the tracks above. A group of men attend to the rest of the train, still on the tracks, in the background. No title.
