Unitarian Church, Standish, ME. 76

The Unitarian Church, known as the Old Red Church, Standish, ME. was built in 1804 and is a full two story building with an open bell tower topped with a railed veranda. There are two entrances from wide front steps and a decorative fan below the peaked roof. It still exists and is on the National Historic Register. The first floor is the well preserved church modeled after the Old North Church in Boston. The 2nd floor was the Standish High School from 1893 to 1914.
