Street scene at Presque Isle, Maine. On the left side of the street is the Fairfield Food Bank with a delivery vehicle from Johnston Co. purveyor of home furnishings and bottled gas, radios, paints, etc. Ndext is what appears to be a hotle sporting a sign advertising Krueger Ale. Also seen are two Coca Cola signs, a sign for Western Union and Tim's Home Bakery. On the right side is a mostly obscured sign wijust the letters JO which might be the The Johnston Co. as a vehicle owned by that company is parked across the street. Next is the A&P Food Store, Richard's featuring Curlee Clothes. Western Auto Associate Store, a barber shop, George & Al's Place featured on a Coca Cola sign, Cogswell's Market also on a Coca Cola sign. Next is Sears, Roebuck and Co. Further along is astore selling Kelvinator followed by the Rexall Drug Store. Nearly all of the parking spaces seeme to be filled. Slso seen are some pedestrians and a traffic light suspended over the street.
