Color transparency of the Penobscot Bay Motel on Northport Avenue in Belfast. The first Belfast motel, it opened in 1953. Five years later the new Waldo County Hospital was constructed across the street. After the motel closed, the building was used for medical offices. It is now part of a larger complex of medical offices.
