Molberne Lodge, Brant Lake, N.Y. 1216

"Molberne Lodge, Brant Lake, N.Y. 1216" Stone Fire Place and Chimney, Sitting Room The property was purchased Abraham Bernhard in the early 1900s. It included three mountains named for his sons, the end of Brant Lake, two farms, stables, tennis courts and a whole village of outbuildings. He built the lodge and named it for his wife, Molly Bernhard. Tragically, Molberne Lodge and its buildings have totally vanished. An electrical fire in the 1960s destroyed everything but a small ice house.
