Main St. Sargentville Me. 7.

"Main St. Sargentville Me. 7." "View looks West along what is now called Reach Road. It looks to the center of old Sargentville Activity. The white builing center front is the old bowling alley, which no long exists. It was built right across the creek that drains the Mill Pond (about a half mile up to the right out of th photo) into Eggemoggin Reach, which is to the left about a quarter mile. The first building on the left was a store of various functions over the years, and it still stands but is a private residence. To the viewer's forefront of the store can be seen Maple Ave running up to the left, long the site of stately maples and old family homes, including some of the Sargents. Most of the buildings seen in the photo are still present. Of course the road is now paved wit asphalt." David Anderson, Sedgwick-Brooklin Historical Society 2012
