Route 1 The Mitchell Lodge on Route 1 was demolished in the late 1960s. It was owned by Clara and Jasper Mitchell and was in the family for many years. Virginia and Reginald Strout were the last owners. They left the land to Lewis and Lorena Dorr, who donated it to the Milbridge Historical Society in 1994.
