This image is of the sanctuary interior of the Searsport Congregational Church and apse with organ pipes and dais. The curved recess of the apse and ceiling and paneled wainscotting and substantial pews are characteristic of mid to late 19th century New England church interiors. The organ was manufactured by the E.W. Lane Co. in Waltham, MA and was set up by Mr. Harry Low.
