Built by J Ervin Jones for Carlton Snowe of Auburn, the 36 foot fiber glass boat featured a hull by Jarvis Newman of Southwest Harbor, completed in mahogany. With a beam of 11 feet 6 inches and a draft of 3 feet 6 inches, the OLYMPIAN will be used as a cruising craft between Maine and Sarasota, Florida. Right after launch
