SIDELINGER BOAT FIRE
Larry Sidelinger, while headed down the Damariscotta River to pull his traps, had his boat engine catch fire. He abandon the vessel and swam to shore. Later other fishermen saw the fire and extinguished it, but the boat was a loss. July 1979.
