HERBERT FULLER
HERBERT FULLER was built in 1890 at East Harrington,Maine. 158 feet long with a beam of 35 feet 5 inches and draft of 18 feet. With 3 masts she was originally rigged as a bark- later changed to a barkentine. Captain Charles I Nash and his wife Laura along with second mate August W. Blumberg were murdered aboard the HERBERT FULLER. Later, the ship's name was changed to MARGARET B. ROUSS and under that name she was topredoed by a German sub in 1917, boarded, looted , the crew robbed before being put off in life boats and the MARGARET B.ROUSS was blown up in the Mediterranean.
