Hansen Drowning, Biscay
David H. Hansen, fisherman , drowned at Biscay Bay, Damariscotta in January 1978. Hansen was 40 years old and fell through the ice while cutting a hole for ice fishing. Diving brothers Donald and Daniel Davey were called in to recover Hansen's body.
