LIBERTY

Built by Nelson Webber at Muscongus Harbor in 1980 for 72 year old John LaFond of Gloucester, Ma. LIBERTY was used for gill netting and featured an unusually long deck house. John fished the LIBERTY with his 51 year old son William. The 42 foot boat has a beam of 13 1/2 feet and draft of 3 1/2 feet. At the time of her launching LIBERTY was the largest vessel built in Bremen for some time.
