ICE MAKING

Ice making is revived as a demonstration every spring at Thompson's Ice House in South Bristol. Using some ancient tools and some more modern mechanical assistance, men gather to harvest ice as it was done nearly 200 years ago when Maine cut ice was a major export to cities of the southern United States.
