Phil Lash, boat builder, and Denny Benner, owner of MAUREEN R, are pictured with the new lobster boat. She was built at Lash Brothers Yard in Friendship, Maine, and named for Benner's wife, the former Maureen Simmons. Benner, a graduate of the boat building course at Medomak High School, helped Lash with construction.
