ATLANTIC HARVESTER
Bruce Washburn is at the microphone during launching ceremonies. The ATLANTIC HARVESTER was built at Washburn and Doughty, East Boothbay, Maine, for Lee Riley of New Harbor at a cost of more than one million dollars in 1980. Carrying a crew of twelve and the captain, the boat has a capacity of 200 tons of fish. The purse seiner is 93 feet 9 inches long with a 26 foot beam and draft of 14 feet. Fully loaded she will weigh 500 tons.
