RELIANCE

On the road in Waldoboro. Built in 1929 by Howard Vars at Jerusalem, Rhode Island and restored in 1979 by Doug Lash. Built as a sword fishing vessel the RELIANCE is 36 feet long, with a 12 1/2 foor beam and draft of 4 1/2 feet. Mark Libby, fishing out of New Harbor,Maine handles her alone without a sternman.
